Data is everywhere. It’s all around us, like the air we breathe. I have been studying our planet and earth systems for over a decade and find it an excellent source of data. I can take a field mapping project from start to finish whether its in Toronto or Labrador. If there is a task or problem which can be improved or solved using some code I jump for it. My passion is data analysis and analytics. Most recently I have been exploring the use of data mining to solve spatial problems in earth sciences and business. Master of Science – Earth Sciences
I completed a Master of Science in Earth Sciences at the University of Waterloo. My research thesis project was a collaboration between Stillwater Canada Inc., the University of Waterloo and the University of Windsor. I also completed coursework in environmental geochemistry, ore deposit modelling and hydrothermal systems.
Bachelor of Science – Earth and Environmental Science
I completed a broad degree in Earth and Environmental sciences at the University of Waterloo. I studied a wide variety of subjects related to environmental science including geology, environmental geology, hydrology and geomorphology. I completed a research thesis using ground penetrating radar (GPR) to study rainfall infiltration events.
